Trasmoz Legends is the culmination of the 'Trasmoz Trilogy' and a unique exercise in reverse game design. After developing The Curse for ZX Spectrum and Revenge for Amstrad CPC, I set myself a final challenge: What if those 8-bit games were actually ports of a long-lost 1985 arcade original? To achieve total authenticity, I worked under the strict constraints of prehistoric arcade hardware: a single 16-color palette and 16x16 pixel sprites. This 'lo-fi' visual discipline is matched by a thunderous FM soundtrack composed by Alberto Martínez, created specifically for the YM2203 sound chip to deliver that genuine 1985 coin-op roar. The dream of the 'lost arcade' became a physical reality thanks to the team at El Templo del Arcade in Madrid. Together, we built a unique, custom cabinet, as if it had been unearthed from a 1985 warehouse, which is now on permanent display at their venue. Furthermore, through our partnership with JanduSoft, the legend was ported to the modern era, bringing the definitive arcade experience to PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
"Trasmoz Legends delivers exactly what it promises: a pure arcade experience from the 80s. With its 16-color palette and a magnificent FM soundtrack by Alberto Martínez, it is a technical feat that perfectly captures the essence of the classics while being tremendously addictive."
XBOX MANIAC
"A beautiful arcade game that takes us back to the best era of the amusement arcades. With a simple but magnificent pixel art, and a gameplay that is easy to understand, yet challenging and very addictive. It really feels like it was extracted from the 80s arcades."
ERREK GAMER
"A wonderfully authentic retro experience that feels like it belongs on a vintage arcade cabinet. With its straightforward gameplay and challenging difficulty, it's an incredibly satisfying title for fans of the golden age of gaming."
